Unlimited Mode
Finished today's puzzle and want more? Unlimited mode is the answer. Instead of a single daily Pokémon puzzle, it generates endless random chains so you can keep connecting Pokémon for as long as you like — no waiting until tomorrow.
How it works
Every puzzle is built the same way as the daily one: a start Pokémon and an end Pokémon with empty slots between them, and a rule on each connection that the two neighbours must satisfy. When you finish, just tap New puzzle for a fresh random chain. Because the puzzles are generated from a guaranteed-solvable path, there is always at least one valid solution.
Normal and Hard
Play in Normal for connections you can read off a Pokémon at a glance — type, colour, evolution line, who's faster or heavier — or switch to Hard for deeper data like egg groups, abilities, best and worst stat, base-stat totals, body shape, habitat and evolution methods. See the full list of connections to know exactly what each rule asks for.
Daily vs Unlimited
The Daily puzzle is shared by everyone and keeps your streak; Unlimited is the relaxed, practice-friendly cousin — random, streak-free and infinitely replayable. Many players warm up in Unlimited before taking on the daily, or use it to learn the Hard-mode connections with hints turned on.
FAQ
What is Unlimited mode?
Unlimited mode gives you endless, randomly generated Pokémon connection puzzles. Instead of one puzzle a day, you can generate a brand-new chain whenever you want and keep playing as long as you like.
How is it different from the Daily puzzle?
The Daily puzzle is the same for everyone each day and tracks your streak. Unlimited mode is just for practice and fun: every puzzle is random, there is no streak, and you can hit New puzzle as many times as you want.
Can I choose the difficulty?
Yes. Unlimited mode can be played in Normal (surface-level connections like type, colour and evolution) or Hard (deeper data like egg groups, abilities, base-stat totals and evolution methods).
Is Unlimited mode free?
Completely free, right in your browser, with no account or install. You can also turn on optional hints to learn the trickier connections.
