Lower # than

The Lower # than connection is one of the pokédex & data rules in the daily PokéWired Pokémon puzzle. Two Pokémon are linked by it when this holds: Left has the lower Pokédex number.

It's directional: order matters. Read it left to right — it describes the left Pokémon compared to the right one (for example, “faster than” means the one on the left is faster). You'll meet it in Normal puzzles, and it can also show up in the Unlimited and Chain modes.

Pokédex connections use the descriptive data behind every entry: colour, body shape, category, egg group, habitat, abilities and the Pokédex number itself.
