Same method

The Same method connection is one of the evolution rules in the daily PokéWired Pokémon puzzle. Two Pokémon are linked by it when this holds: Evolve by the same method.

It's not directional: it works both ways, so it doesn't matter which Pokémon goes on the left and which on the right. It belongs to the Hard rule set, so you'll only run into it in Hard puzzles.

Evolution connections look at where a Pokémon sits in its family: which stage it is, how long its line is, and how it evolves — by level, by stone or by another method.
